JED THE SLOTH | UNDERGROUND PHONK

Jed the Sloth is an underground Rap artist based out of Baton Rouge, LA specializing in “OG Phonk” blending classic soulful Southern Rap over a heavy, hardcore tone. Recommend if you like: Teamsesh Bones, Black Smurf or Freddie Dredd.

Jed laid his roots in the Soundcloud underground alongside artists like Black Smurf and Doomshop Records as well as collaborating with veterans like Project Pat. He is known to perform on hardcore and punk lineups, where he opened for legendary hardcore band Vein. Jed has been able to connect with an entirely new audience through social media, amassing millions of views through nostalgic Millennial storytelling content.

Jed’s upcoming single “RINGRAT” releasing Dec 4th marks the beginning of a new era in the Jed the Sloth ethos. It's the lead single for an upcoming EP titled “Bladejob” which is an Underground Phonk professional wrestling themed project, with production from Doomshop records’ Apoc Krysis and a song featuring the “Queen of the Underground” Jupiluxe.
